Sewing Vintage in Paris, France: where to go!

July 3, 2011

This is a post from a Parisian 33 years old sewing lover who would like to share her addresses in Paris.

If you make a stop in our romantic city, you will probably be eager to know where you can buy fabric, zippers, patterns and much more for your retro creations.

The area is even more attractive because it’s located in the touristic district of “Montmartre”.
Do you remember the movie “Amélie Poulain”… yes, it’s just here…

Have a look to my blog to know where to go! http://ellepetille.over-blog.com

  1. If it's in any way, shape or form related to Amelie, I'm there!
It is my all-time favourite film and I've been so desperate to go back to Paris since first seeing the film. Last time I went I was too young to explore by myself, so now I have another reason – Paris, Amelie, and sewing! Perfect combination. Better start saving for a train ticket…

  2. I forgot to mention the
Metro station is "Anvers" on line 2.
Be careful and watch your belongings while going out from the metro.
once you are out of the metro turn right, look at the basilic on your right, take this street. Once you are at the hill basis, the stores are on your right…

  3. My daughter studies languages and is going to Paris and Versailles soon so thanks for the information…I will make sure she gets there!!

  4. Certainly a sewer's dream! Amazing quality, selection and prices. I've been there a couple of times. Heaven! 🙂

Oh, and the sandwiches from the street carts in that area are really yummy!
