This dress is vintage but i did so much work on it, it may as well have been a new dress. This dress was very small and was in pretty bad shape. I made a panel using the fabric i had cut off the hem and added it to the center back seam of the dress to make it larger. I added gray lace and blue ribbon on the front. It even has a matching shrug/bolero jacket. It is now in good
vintage condition, i’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

I think it's gorgeous, and I'm highly impressed about making a dress larger with the fabric from the remains on the edges, etc. I've never tried that….I NEED to be able to "largeify" dresses, but I've never tried. Interesting concept. lymeade.blogspot.com

I'm afraid I always shudder when I see the words 'vintage upcycling', but you've actually done a very lovely job in making an old dress wearable whilst remaining faithful to its vintage spirit. Very nice.
LOL i usually shudder also, thank you
