….or so it says!
The fabric tells a story about a woman in the 50´s who sews her own cloths and how people admire the things she makes.
I used a pattern from the 60´s and the dress was quite easy to sew. I had never tried making cuffs before, so I was excited to find out if I could manage the challenge. And I think that it worked out wonderfully
I also made a belt because I like to center the waist.
The shoes are from the danish brand Lola Ramona. I got them for my birthday and I love simply love them.

I love everything about you dress and your entire outfit! Gorgeous and fun.
It does look like a lot of fun! The fabric and colors are great, too. And, I really like your shoes as well
Fantastic, and so are the shoes!
fabulous! i love the blue.
Your fabric is amazing! May I ask if there is any manufacturer's information on the selvedge, and where you got it?
I have the little booklet, issued by Free-Westinghouse, if memory serves, from which those images are taken.
Your dress is utterly charming, and those shoes are divine!
Hi Marolsh,
The fabric is from Alexander Henry, and the name of the fabric is "Home sewing is easy". I bought the fabric in Denmark, but if you google the name, you will find a retailer on the net (near you). Alexander henry has many fun prints.
thanks for your comment
Kind regards
Linda
