Hello! This is my first post to Sew Retro. I followed Sew Retro before I could even really sew. So I guess you could say this blog got me started. I sewed my first vintage inspired garment last summer and now I can’t get enough! I recently started my own blog where I post sewing and craft projects.

This weekend I hosted a sewing party for four of my gal pals. Everyone made the same 1940′s halter top from Simplicity 1624. We all had a blast and already planned our next workshop…pencil skirts! Look at my blog for more pics!

A sewing party sounds so much fun! I don't know any one in real life that sews, so my poor friends get bored to death by my ramblings! lol
