I finished this dress a few days ago; I was quite dismayed when the “good” camera pics left a very distinct and distracting shadow on ALL of the pics… please look past it; I’ll get better pics soon!
The details of construction can be found on my blog if you are interested. http://when-ladies-dressed.blogspot.com/

Wow, you look great!
Lovely job.
Beautiful!
This is so elegant; very stylish. Bravo!!!
That's a very attractive dress on you. Slim skirt for the win! Lovely figure, and yes, great job on the sewing. 🙂

That's beautiful on you! The neckline detail is really interesting.

That dress looks really good on you! And for the hard, 'distracting' shadow, that's there because u used your flashlight at daytime. So you should alter the time to record (longer) or find a spot that is better lit. So, don't worry, it had nothing to do with your camera being broke or something.
Looks great & wonderful neckline. It must look terrific from the back too with the deep 'V'.
Very lady like indeed. I need to learn to sew.
Thank you all very much for your kind comments!! This was such a fun dress to make… Yes, the camera flash was on – it's my husband's camera and we used it because it's higher technology than my "point and shoot" (which I always have on the "easy" setting, lol…) You are all so kind!
The shadow probably was caused by the flash being out of sync with the shutter speed. Make sure that your shutter speed is set no slower than 1/60 when using the flash and you should be fine (or make sure you have everything on Program mode). The dress and your blog are fabulous!
