I joined Sew Retro at least 2 years ago, and until now have not sewn a thing but finally, I have made something!  A summer top using a 1970s pattern, Maudella 5936.

It was fairly straightforward and I’m really pleased with the result.  Read more if you’re interested at my new blog, Sew Something Vintage

I think it's beautiful! I've never heard of this pattern company, but I started sewing in the 70s so I probably had something similar. I really like the peplum on it and the wider straps. It's nice when you can wear something 'summery' but can still wear a bra under it.

I used to have that pattern! (Back when it was new.)

I wish that I still had the peplum jacket.

Your camisole is lovely.
