I love sewing, but I have never tried to sew a dress. This one, is the first one I’ve ever made.
I am quite happy with the result and I hope to sew more of this.
I used a Retro Butterick pattern B5209

Ooooh I have just started to make a muslin of this dress….i am torn between the two views but think I will make a muslin of the sleeved version. Like you, this will be my very first dress. How did you find it? I have been trying on as I make and I think I am going to have to expand the waist/midsection a little (possibly due to irregular sewing of seam allowances on my part!). I hope my finished version looks as good as yours 🙂 x
