A while ago, I happened on Advance 7065, an American Designer Pattern by the designer, Jerry Parnis.  Not a designer I was familiar with but I loved view 2.

I knew I had exactly the right fabric for this dress so put in on my to do list.  Many months later, I finally got to this dress.  Making this dress had its pitfalls that you can read more about the problems and general experience making up this pattern on my blog.  Nevertheless, I am really happy with this dress it is very comfortable and the fitting was not the problem I had anticipated.

I do plan to make some changes:  The most important is more buttons!!  This dress kept flipping open in the wind showing off my utilitarian slip.  UGH!
