Now I know that the Colette Patterns Sencha blouse pattern isn’t actually vintage, but I think it would be difficult to argue that it isn’t a ‘retro’ style so I’m posting my creation here anyways! I don’t normally go for ‘blousey’ type shapes, but the back buttons appealed to me and I like how this pattern is a real canvas for the fabric choice, making all the Senchas I’ve seen look very different.
The fabric I used definately is vintage though. It’s something synthetic that I found buried in a pile at work. It has a crepe-y texture, with a soft handle and nice drape. There’s a wierd sparkliness to it as well. Any ideas what it could be?!
The buttons I used were from my stash, bought at a flea market at some point last year. I think they fit perfectly with the nautical theme of this blouse.

Happy stitching peops!

If that fabric is the kind of thing you find buried in piles at work, I want to come and work at your place! Lovely blouse and the buttons add the perfect touch.
