Mommy Dearest?

So, what do you guys think of Mommy & Me outfits? I think they are cute in measured doses, and I had some fabric left from my Paisley Dress, so I made a onesie for my little girly.

Simplicity 9128 again!
I got to use some more vintage thrifted notions, and it was a quick, easy sew. I have a few more pics over at my blog, Farmhouse Garden, though none of us together yet. Maybe for Easter?
Oh, I also bought this pretty dress to sew up for a wedding I will be Matron of Honor in this fall- my baby sister is getting married!
Have any of you used this pattern, or do you know of anyone who has? I think for me it’ll be view three in cranberry dupioni silk with the lace overblouse. Wish me luck!

  • What a cute MoH dress! I love the box pleats[?] in the skirt.

  • I loved getting dresses made from my mother's scraps. But we never wore them together…
