Butterick 9804 – Little 60’s Top

I’ve had this fabric for years but didn’t have very much of it. Looking for the next sewing project for my blog, I found a pattern for a little 60’s top in an antiques bazaar in Melbourne, and decided it might be a good match for the fabric. I love how this top turned out, it’s such a beautiful fabric and it works really well with a lot of plain separates in my wardrobe :D

I posted up pictures of this from the pattern choice, to a work-in-progress, to a finished piece, if you’d like to see how it started, visit http://www.genevieveink.com/post/1275408381/sewing-weekend-09-10-2010-butterick-9804
