Howdy friends! I just finished sewing up the A-line skirt from McCall’s 4217. It was a really great pattern to work with, and the skirts (2!) went together very easily, even for a novice like myself. I love how a classic design can be just as relevant in 2010 as it was 36 years ago!

More info as well as pictures of the knit version, farm stand peppers, and my baby in a bear costume are over at my blog, Farm House Garden. Happy sewing!
This turned out really nice. I went to your blog and your baby in the bear costume. OMG so cute!
Nice! Love classic basics from vintage patterns.
very cute! i like the knit version too.
Thanks so much ladies! I'm trying to sew some basics into my wardrobe. It can be challenging with a little bear in the house!
