McCall 3968

I just finished making McCall 3968–a terrific skirt pattern from 1940.  Even though there were no directions with the pattern pieces, it went together like a breeze.  I made it in a navy lightweight wool. 

Here I am wearing the new skirt with the ruffled blouse I also made:

And here with my ness shoes, bag and jacket (and refashioned 1940′s hat with Ness fabric trim):

I love this jacket and the skirt goes perfectly with it!
