Is there a "wanted" section?

in Vintage Sewing

I love reading about everyone’s sewing… especially as every single piece of fabric and my machines are currently packed waiting for the ship to take them from Australia to the States… my new home!

If anyone has this pattern, McCalls 6750 – smocked bags/purses, I would love to either purchase it or if a copy could be made of the pattern pieces and smocking, I would pay a fair and resonable price.

Please let me know! Thanks :) Monique xx

Pattern Rescue (.com) is another place that can help find vintage/OOP patterns.

Perhaps you could use one of the vintage smocked pillow patterns like McCall's 6259 or 5262 for the smocked design and then use your smocked fabric for the purse of your choice using a modern day pattern and handles. Just an idea – - – :-)
