Hollywood 1025

August 15, 2010

I recently made this 1940 Hollywood Pattern from a blue rayon fabric that has little flowers on it. The skirt looks a lot longer on the mannequin than it actually is. This suit went together pretty quickly the tricky part was the side insets. I could have made it a little bigger too.

  1. I must say, I just love how this pattern looks and you did an exceptional job making it! It's so epitomses all of the things I know that I love about the 1940s style and shape. The rayon you made it out of definitely compliments it well!
