On my bonus day off this week, I stopped in at a small antique mall on a whim and scored big with inexpensive vintage patterns from the 1940s through the 1970s!

Not bad for an unscheduled visit on a Tuesday! They’re all scanned in and in my vintage pattern library, too.

Simplicity 4438 was THE required pattern for first time junior high home ec sewers in the late 50's. I remember making it up in a baby blue eyelet. Very easy pattern, but, by then I had already been sewing for several years. Oh…I am dating myself.
Oh, I love the sundresses! (I'm also a little envious of how easy it is to find vintage patterns in the USA.)
Wow! How exciting! Such great patterns – I love the 4651 dress – so sweet!!
Wow! Truly a pattern score. I'm partial to Advance 4888. So pretty!
