Just Peachy!

Hi all, I’ve been looking for an easy Summer dress pattern that would be nice over a bikini. I’ve had a few tunic style dresses and fancied making one myself. I saw quite a few vintage patterns online along these lines…
BUT these are very pricey so I used a Burda download instead and added a few bells and whistles. See more on my blog. Happy Sewing xx

  • Looking good. I recently came across a few of the neckband/yoke style patterns from the 50s and early 60s and it hit me that these would be perfect for the current trend of heavily embellishing the band/yoke with jewels and gems. Offering some of them at $5 in my Etsy shop FeltSewCrafty (listed in sidebar). So neat to see someone else is thinking of these great vintage patterns as beach coverups too.
