When I completed my dress from the vintage butterick B5032 pattern below, I looked at the pattern cover and wondered when I would ever make the cape on the green dress. After all, the weather in Singapore is so predictable. Warm all the time with occasional showers.
Which is why I totally surprised myself when I opened its sealed envelope a week later and made a cape! I adapted the pattern off course and the cape has a totally different function. Meet Cape Tara, my third summer blouse this week. More photos and details on how I adapted the pattern on my blog.
