Or rather, I started one, because follow-through isn’t as much of an issue for me as the initial get-up-and-go. I’ve had Vogue 9996 (1960) in my stash since 2008 but I finally got around to putting it all together last week. You can read the final notes here, which includes links to the original two progress reports and the changes I made to the original pattern.

Fantastic! Great pattern, well done

Very cute! That pattern is adorable.
What a DARLING suit. I want it! Is it truly a vintage pattern?
Oohh La La! Great job! Definitely retro.
very pretty!
hope you have fun at the beach or pool or wherever
Sensational!
Celeste: Yes, it's a true vintage pattern from 1960, with the tears and missing pieces to match. I had to draft the entire top from the cutting layout! I guess my local fabric shop doesn't get too many vintage hobbyists, because she was three shades of confused by me buying a seersucker for making a swimsuit. Her eyes would have fallen right out if I mentioned the zipper!
stunning!
So cute!
