I totally forgot to post about this over here, so sorry guys!
Since not all my patterns have been selling as well lately, I’m hosting a giveaway! The winner may pick one of the patterns featured in this post. After the giveaway, the other patterns will be available for purchase in my Etsy store.
The catch? You have to leave a comment here, telling me about your favorite sewing pattern (links to images or posts are welcome, of course!). You don’t have to own it, or even have made it, you just have to love it. Entries can be left here or on my own blog, but the winner will only be posted on my blog (don’t want to clog Sew Retro up too much).
*The purple overdress pattern is a B36.
*Butterick 4804 is actually a size B35.
EDIT! All entries must be in by the end of this Friday.

My favorite right now is Vogue Special Design 4133 from the 1940's. I love the way the scallops form tucks! So clever and elegant!

Ah, and old friend! I made Butterick 4804 many times in the 70's…of course I would need a bigger size now, but it was a TNT for me!

My favorite pattern is this McCalls vintage diner apron pattern I've had for years! I love making vintage aprons because I love novelty fabrics and they're easier to incorporate into an apron!

Here's a picture, the one I use it the diner style apron in the middle!

I love all the re-issued patterns from the 50's, but my absolute fav is Butterick Retro '57 4513.

It's out of print (again.) I made View b in a bright red flower covered print for my July Potluck Wedding Bash. We got married here on our porch.

It's a modern one, but Colette Patterns' Ceylon is gorgeous!

Hi Collette, or is it Lisette? My, you got me confused because it's one name on your profile and another posting here! Ah well, just wanted to thank you for leaving your comment at my blog. As for the giveaway, don't count me in because I'm totally useless with a needle!

Thanks again and have a lovely weekend!

Of the patterns you have posted, I like Simplicity 8010 the best. I could definitely use a few elements from that design in my children's boutique clothing!

Colette patterns have a Macaron dress that I think is gorgeous! I bought the pattern but haven't had a chance to make it up yet.
