About the author: I’m a homemaker with a love of vintage fashion and retro decor. I love vintage costume jewellery, rhinestones, glitter, tea, food, cooking, baking, reading good books (including cookbooks), and spending time with my amazing family.
I am an unabashed lover of the colour pink, polka dot fabrics and miniatures. I am trying to live as thrifty life as possible, documenting the ups and downs. I am passionate about handmade, preferring quality, eco-conscious, ethical, handcrafted items over mass-produced products. I am a novice knitter, a good crocheter, and an experienced seamstress.
When I’m not creating at home, I am Brian Fortuna’s PA and stage manager for Vaudeville Tattoo.

This site contributes to its own setup, maintenance, and expansion costs with the occasional affiliate link. For example, if you follow a link to Shopify (which does an amazing job of hosting our online store) and decide to sign up with them, they’ll know we sent you and will be much more inclined to bring out the best china when we pop over for a cup of tea. This is limited to products we think are genuinely noteworthy rather than a shady operation handing over an enormous bag of cash to say nice things about them.
