Although I have been a long time fan of Sew Retro, it’s only recently that I decided to join and share in the fun.
I am a lover of 50s and 60s fashion and much of my sewing takes inspiration from those two decades. My favourite garment from last year was made from a tweak on a 60s dress pattern, Simplicity 7990. If you have a few spare minutes, you can hop over to my blog, Hungry Zombie Couture for a look-see at some other vintage projects as well.
I hope in the near future to have a few new projects to share. In the mean time, I’ll just keep drooling over all the fab garments that everyone else posts here. Thanks to everyone for the inspiration!
Hi, Shannon. I'm so excited to see that you've just joined Sew Retro. I've been a member here for a while. Of course, you probably already knew that.
Gorgeous!
Great dress, but I NEED those shoes!
You are a winner no matter where you post!
Seriously, that is fabulous!
Thank you all for the kind welcome!
I just *love* this!
Shannon, I'm thrilled to see you over here. I love all of your projects (as you know by know) and love this site. Glad you joined.
I missed this on your blog but glad you posted here. What a lovely dress!
