This is a vintage knit fabric I picked up for $3.00 for 3 meters at the Hobart C.W.A.(love your shop ladies!)
isn’t it ugly?! I thought they were planets…but apparently they are chinese vases and tree branches…..how graceful indeed.
Well it still looks “captain planet” inspired to me
stupid post sorry!
Allison.
I love that you hate it and yet still bought it. You and I obviously shop the same way – "MUST ACQUIRE…..MUST ACQUIRE…"
; )
That certainly bizarre! The pattern reminds me of mold spoors growing in a petri dish ;P
Wishing you a beautiful Monday & week ahead!

yeah I'd like to start getting into pattern design so I like being able to see the difference between good and bad…this is just bad bad.
This is so….unusual. When was it made? I'll bet the 70's.
i'm not sure it's 48" wide though. I guess it could be 70's it's pretty hard for me to tell though.
timlessly bad
Wow. That is just so… so… um, yup. I must own up to a couple of fuglies too. So bad that you just have to have them!
Wow, weird. What are you going to do with it? It is rather Captain-Plantet-ish. 😉 I think you might be able to do something cool with it…
what do you have in mind? I don't have a clue… may be one of those tube necklaces…do you know the sort I mean? lotts of little fabric tubes alltogether?
honestly, i think I would make a funky jacket and purse set. its very fun looking to me. and i think it would be great to quilt with as well.
I see a wrap dress. Add some structure. It is tres unusual!
lol, I haven't thought about Captain Planet since I was a kid.
