I left you all on Saturday morning, when I had created my graded pattern but had yet to cut out my fabric. Things went fairly smoothly and I completed the dress that evening! You can read about the details and results here.

Beautiful dress the fabric is stunning! ♥
Love the dress, you did a beautiful job. Wonderful choice of fabric.
Wowee, that dress is gorgeous! Love how the dragon on the bodice falls just in the right place.
wicked awesome dress!!!
Yippie Dragons!!! it's wonderful.
I'm so pleased that you all like it! Thank you ever so much for the comment love. Yes, the fabric is fantastic. This dress started life as a set of twin sheets, but I had to buy and repurpose them for the print! Dragons and phoenixes and ribbons, oh my. It took some doing to lay out the pattern in such a way as to get a dragon on the bodice, but not dead center and not in the way of the neckline. Not as difficult as matching chevrons, I imagine! I look forward to tweaking this pattern further and making it again.
Lovely – I love the fabric and your accessories finish off the whole look!
Oh this is wonderful!!! I'm glad someone else uses bed sheets. My boyfriend always laugs at me for making clothes from bed linen. He has no idea!!
WOnderful job & you look fantastic!
