This isn’t a retro pattern; this is a made-up pattern. However, I was going for that 40’s farmgirl look that you often see the classic actresses sporting in photo shoots, so I thought I might as well share here.
I’m putting a couple pictures here, but make sure you check out the whole collection on my private blog, ’cause I have lots!! A few details about the inspiration and ‘making of’ are there too.
Great job! I think you pulled the 40's farmgirl look off very well.
The dress turned out really cute and with your hair all done up you make a perfect 1940's farm girl. ♥
You've got the look.

This looks *exactly* like pictures I have of my grandmother, only in color. Love all the green and your hair looks perfect, not too "done" which a farmgirl certainly wouldn't have time for.
so charming! you pull off this look so well, totally romantic.
Very pretty – you look like you just stepped off of a movie set.
Lovely! You look like a young Elizabeth Taylor
Oooo you're adoreable!!! What a pretty dress! A very talented young lady indeed!
I love it!!! What a perfect dress for a lazy summer afternoon. 😀
So adorable and fresh
