Sew Ready for Summer!

March 12, 2009
Here is Butterick 7862 from 1956.
It went together really quickly…aside from the set-in sleeves.
The time had come to learn how to ease in sleeves properly, so I slowly rose to the challenge.
I want to make a bunch in an array of colors for summertime.
More info on my blog.
  1. You’re a cutie. Your writing style is so warm and funny.
I think this is a great top. The stripy one with the hood is so cute also. I’ll be looking for the additional tops from this pattern.

  2. Your choice of fabric is a fine example of how adaptable vintage patterns can be and your interpretation looks so Summer-y!
