Hi all! I’m Toodles from Kansas City. So glad to be part of this inspiring blog. I have been sewing on and off for about 15 years. I had so many fitting problems with commercial patterns I almost gave it up until about a year ago when I found Wild Ginger software, now that is all I use. I can pretty much reproduce any vintage pattern or dress that I have a picture of. I love styles from the 30s thru the mid-60s, the 50s are my favorites. I have about a years worth of dresses to post here so hope you enjoy them!

That wild ginger looks AMAZING. I see an xmas present from my hubby in the not too distant future…
I looked at WG several years ago but didn’t buy it because of the price and my current ability to get Big3 patterns locally cheap, cheap, cheap each at season’s end.
I never, never, never thought about using WG to recreate vintage patterns! That is a WONDERFUL IDEA!!!
Thank you sooo much for sharing!
It is really great software. I don’t want to sound like a big commercial for it, but if you have serious fitting issues like me it is a god send. I had almost given up sewing because I was so frustrated with commercial patterns.
