Today is the last day of school, I made an arm tote for my son’s second grade teacher. It’s McCall’s 6794, copyright 1963.
The fabric is Urban Chiks “Swell” by Moda in deco weight, reinforced with fusible fleece. The inside of the bag and the pocket are lined with red/white polka dots. The button below is also vintage. A big, fat, thick, juicy little thing. The bag measures 12 3/4″ x 21″, so it’s sizeable.
Craft sewing is not my strength but this bag pattern wasn’t too bad. 🙂 Thanks for looking!
